The Rhode Island Department of Revenue has issued a permanent extension on the employer provision of Forms 1095-B and 1095-C. Employers now have until March 2, 2023 to send the forms to their RI-resident employees, extended from the previous January 31^st deadline. Employers also now have until March 31, 2023 to file with the state, also extended from the previous January 31^st deadline. Importantly, this permanent extension brings the state reporting deadlines in alignment with the current IRS timeline for federal reporting.
